Obiero joined the club in 2017 after a successful trial period from the XYZ Academy like Mustapha Olagunju. In January 2020, Micah signed a new 2 1/2 year deal with the club meaning his deal now runs to the end of the 21/22 season. Micah made his first team debut in the final day of the 2019/20 season against Millwall as a second half substitute.
