Jones officially signed from Wrexham in January 2020, with the winger signing his first professional contract in October 2020, which is set to expire at the end of the 2022 season, but the club has an option for an extra year. Jones made his debut in the FA Cup against Plymouth Argyle, with Pat assisting Romoney Crichlow from a corner, which put Town 1-0 up before they succumbed to a 2-3 defeat. Jones went on to make two further substitute appearances during the campaign and in a year that saw him named academy player of the year.
