Joining Town on the 10th January 2020, on an initial 1 1/2 year deal, the former Wolves and Fulham player signed on a free transfer after agreeing to mutually terminate his contract at Premier League side Sheffield United.
He made an instant impact at Town with him keeping 2 clean sheets in his first 5 games and helped them gain 7 points from those games.
Although his later performances did go under scrutiny as he made a number of mistakes in the remaining games of the season, most notably his error leading to Millwall's third goal in a 4-1 defeat on the Championship final day.
He was often heard to be organising the Huddersfield defence well and being much more vocal than his partner and captain Christopher Schindler.
